 Return Window

  • You may request a return within 10 calendar days of the delivery date (or in‑store purchase date).
  • To start a return, email us at retail@roy-sonfencing.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns without an RMA may be refused.

Eligibility & Condition

  • Items must be new, unused, uninstalled, and in the original, unopened packaging with all parts, hardware, and manuals.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
  • Items returned used, installed, damaged, or missing parts/packaging may be refused or additional fees assessed.

Manufacturer Warranty

Many of our manufacturers back their materials with warranties for your peace of mind. Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and by the specific product chosen for your project. Our team will be happy to walk you through the details of the warranty that applies to your purchase.

Restocking Fee

  • Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, deducted from your refund.
  • The restocking fee does not apply if we shipped the wrong item or the product is confirmed defective upon inspection.

Non‑Returnable Items

  • Custom‑cut or made‑to‑order items (e.g., cut‑to‑length pipe/fabric/wire).
  • Special orders not regularly stocked.
  • Clearance/final‑sale items.
  • Opened chemicals, cement, sealants, coatings, or similar materials.
  • Gift cards.

Return Shipping

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs and for using a trackable, insured service.
  • Original shipping charges are non‑refundable.

Inspection & Refunds

  • Allow 3–5 business days after delivery to our facility for inspection.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval (your bank/issuer may take additional time).
  • If a return is refused or adjusted due to condition, we will notify you of the options.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours with photos of the item that is damaged or defective so we can arrange a replacement or refund. Packaging must be retained for carrier claims.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are processed as a return plus a new purchase. Restocking and shipping terms apply unless the exchange is due to our error or a confirmed defect.

Freight/LTL Deliveries (if applicable)

  • Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and take photos at the time of delivery. Refuse severely damaged shipments and contact us immediately.
